I'd like to offer some words of wisdom from someone who has done this swim several times. It’s a little difficult to beat a personal ‘best’ open water swim time when all the colorful reef fish are causing a distraction while in your pursuit of gold! If you are metric conversion challenged like many of us are, 800m is a little over 1/2 mile!
Do you need more time to get prepared for an open water swim? Consider joining us in the Turks and Caicos for the Race for the Conch open water swim in July, 2017.. In Grand Cayman, the Flowers Sea Swim will be held in June 2017. Check out the Grand Cayman action at flowersseaswim.com.
